Pressure Transducers

Technology

A pressure transducer is a device that converts pressure into an analog electrical signal. The simplest form of an electronic pressure measurement system is the pressure sensor. It is the pressure sensor which changes the physical variable "pressure"" into a quantity that can be processed electronically. In a pressure transducer, the sensor element and housing are in electrical contact and have a pressure connection.

Manufacturers

Endress + Hauser has a couple different variations of their Cerebar product, a cost-effective pressure transducer with oil-free ceramic sensor for measurement in gases, steams or liquids. The Cerebar Pressure Transducer is not only suitable for O2 applications, but an extremely stable, overload-resistant and reliable pressure measurement instrument. Website
Viatran offers a wide range of Pressure Transducers designed specifically for the oil industry. Benefits include, but are not limited to – HART communication, small size and weight, high pressures, and reliable accuracy. Website
