The VLT® AQUA Drive FC 202 is designed to provide the highest level of performance of AC-motor-driven applications. Featuring a wide range of powerful standard features, which can be expanded with performance-improving options, the drive is equally suited to both new and retrofit projects. The VLT® AQUA Drive can realistically offer first-year cost savings of between 10–30% compared to traditional drive solutions. The VLT® Advanced Active Filter AAF 006 improves system efficiency and increases grid robustness to avoid downtime. It can compensate for individual drives or it can be installed as a compact standalone solution at a point of common coupling to compensate for several loads simultaneously. The active filter ensures optimal harmonic suppression independent of the number of loads and their individual load profile. In addition, it corrects the power factor and balances the phase load to provide optimal energy utilization.

The VLT® LHD continuously regulates harmonic suppression according to the load and grid conditions without affecting the connected motor. The total harmonic current distortion is reduced to less then 3% on grids with balanced mains, a minimum pre-distortion to less than 5% on grids with high harmonic distortion and 2% phase unbalance. The VLT® Low Harmonic Drive meets all present harmonic standards and recommendations.

The VLT® PHD-202 Preferred Harmonic Design (PHD) is a full-featured, AQUA dedicated drive solution when conformance to IEEE-519 is required, even at the drive terminals. The PHD-202 has a number of features developed specifically to meet the diverse needs of water and wastewater applications and is the most practical solution to address growing harmonic concerns within the industry. Meets the most stringent IEEE-519 levels down to 60% load at panel terminals. Delivers enhanced ThiD and Power Factor performance across the typical operating range and exceeds IEEE-519 THvD requirements.

The MCD 201 offers efficient motor-starting features, while the extended MCD 202 version provides enhanced soft-start functionality and additional motor-protection features. The series of soft starters offer easy DIN rail mounting for sizes up to 30 kW, 2-wire or 3-wire start/stop control and excellent starting duty (4 x le for 6 seconds; heavy starting ratings at 4 x le for 20 seconds).
