Vibrating level switches are used as overfill protection devices or low-level indicators in liquids as well as in granular and powdery bulk solids. In addition, they detect the dampening that occurs when a vibrating probe is submerged in a process medium. Soliphant is a maintenance free device, which is not affected by build-up or external vibration and does not require calibration. Liquiphants, known for their overfill prevention or pump protection capability, provides measurement unaffected by: flow, turbulence, bubbles, foam, vibration, bulk solids content or build-up. These sensors are impervious to temperature fluctuations, high-pressure cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection, therefore they are not affected by alternating media, sediment build-up, abrasion, turbulence, solid or gas components, and/or foam. They cover a large variety of applications such as: overfill or dry run protection, pump controls, high/low fail safe limit switch, and dry/wet indication in pipes.
