RAYCHEM-Chemelex – Heating Cable
RAYCHEM-Chemelex heating cables are made for a wide variety of industrial, commercial and residential applications.
By offering an array of cable technologies — such as self regulating, power limiting, mineral insulated, skin effect, constant wattage and series resistance — our heating cables meet the needs of most applications including process temperature maintenance, pipe freeze protection, longline heating, flow assurance, hot water temperature maintenance, roof and gutter de-icing, surface snow melting, frost heave prevention and floor heating.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
RAYCHEM XTVR self-regulating trace heating cables are mainly used for freeze protection of pipes and vessels that require steam cleaning and process temperature maintenance, up to 302 °F/150 °C. They withstand intermittent exposure to 482 °F/250 °C. The fluoropolymer outer jacket (-CT) provides high chemical resistance against aggressive organics and corrosives.
